One of the reasons I have a passion for film scoring is because as a child, my piano teacher always emphasized the importance of story-telling through music. She taught me to paint pictures through sound; to portray conversations without words; to pour my emotions into the music.
Here is one of my favorite Chopin etudes, which I first performed when I was 12. As I’ve grown older, my interpretation has varied slightly, but the story – the essence remains the same. Hope you enjoy.
